As you might have guessed, Nick and I finally got out of the office - just in time to have a bath (not together), then running Nick down to Heathrow for him to shoot off to Gen Con. I collapsed soon after. . .

Once recovered, there was still more to do! Wraith Recon had to be prepped for printing, and a preview produced along with an 'intro/promotional' PDF for download, so people could get a better idea of what the setting is all about, as well as feasting their eyes on some of the scrummy artwork we have included!

That done, it was then time to have a mass argument in the office, over the 'Gentleman's Edition' of the all new Baron Munchausen game. Debate flowed too and fro as we wrestled with the cover choices of; which leather to use, what embossing to use, what colour gold foil to use. In the end, Satin Black, Bison, Gold B22 won through. Means nothing, I know - but the book is going to look seriously good, so make sure you are one of the first thousand to grab a copy (and we are very near that limit already!). Everyone else will receive the 'Servant's and Wives' Edition'!

What else has been going on? Well, there has been a tiny bit of rejinking to the schedule due to people disappearing for various conventions, but it only affects a small number of books over the next couple of months or so, and the rest proceed apace. We have also set some interviews for the new Layout Assistant (I can't tell you how much the editors are looking forward to _that_!).

Finally, I signed some very long contracts and other bits and bobs today. Once they have been reciprocated, I'll be having a chat about what is going on at the moment - stay tuned to Planet Mongoose for the inside skinny!
